How disgustingly hypocritical of the so-called "peace movement." Many on the extreme Left have, for years, displayed their overweening contempt for the military. But last night, they set a new low.
NEW YORK -- A small bomb caused minor damage to an empty military recruiting station in Times Square early Thursday, shaking guests in hotel rooms high above "the crossroads of the world."New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg responds to the cowards:
Police blocked off the area to investigate the explosion, which occurred at about 3:45 a.m. No one was injured. The blast left a gaping hole in the front window and shattered a glass door, twisting and blackening its metal frame.
Authorities said at a news conference that a witness saw a person on a bicycle wearing a backpack and acting suspiciously, but that no one saw a person place the device in front of the recruiting center.
"If it is something that's directed toward American troops then it's something that's taken very seriously and is pretty unfortunate," said Army Capt. Charlie Jaquillard, who is the commander of Army recruiting in Manhattan.
He said no one was inside the station, where the Marines, Air Force and Navy also recruit.
“The fact that this appears deliberately targeted at the recruiting station insults every one of our brave men and women in uniform stationed around the world.”These bombers are the same kind of gutless turds as that Code Pink dimwit who cried for the Marines to help her after she protested their very presence.

It’s nothng [sic] new for the right to CAUSE or INCITE the violence, or to trigger arranged mob responses, and make sure it all gets pinned on the Left. And the right seems to be able to get the FBI and law enforcement to do this for them as well. Anarchy, chaos, property damage, physical harm, mayhem, murder, militarized police with massive crowd control equipment, are all ‘options’ the right are eager to use to shut down any potentially energizing movement.---

UPDATE: Sorry to disappoint the imbeciles at Daily Kos, but the "progressive" terrorists responsible for the bombing wrote a diatribe claiming responsibility and sent it to their Democrat exemplars in Congress before embarking on their fifth column attack. All that unhinged anti-war rhetoric doesn't add up to "patriotic dissent" now, does it?
